Our Services

  • Wildlife Research and Analyses

Extensive expertise and experience designing, developing and implementing scientific studies on a wide diversity of mammalian wildlife, with focus on habitat requirements, movements, and population monitoring. Past and current work includes species-specific research on wolverines, grizzly bear, woodland caribou, Africa ungulates; using GPS collaring, hairsnare and camera sampling, transect sampling and aerial surveys.

  • Large Landscape Conservation

Mapping of individual ecological or cultural values through integration and use of the best available knowledge sources. Bringing multiple layers of spatial maps and models together within spatial and non-spatial decision-support tools. These skills are used within teams and community or indigenous-led projects

  • Community-Based Conservation

We have worked with a diversity of communities including indigenous communities and western rural communities. Communities are those closest to and most dependent upon the wild landscapes we seek to support conservation of and these communities will be the stewards of these landscapes over the long run.

  • Project Management and Strategic Advising

We provide professional and project-defined support services for the visioning, designing, development, capacity building, and implementation of large and small research, conservation and community-based projects. We can also provide strategic advice to existing projects to leverage the existing strengths and capacities to meet your goals
